Made a mistake ?

There is this TV series “Unriddle”, recently ended on Channel 8. It is a police vs criminal show. Quite a nice and unique one, instead of focusing on how to solve the case, it focus more on why the criminal commit the offence. The main plot is about this police officer, who whole life had been wanting to avenge his father’s death by trying to kill 4 police and ex-police officers who he is made to believe that murdered his father. He successfully killed 3 of them and was finally caught before he can accomplished his “goal”. The tragedy was he discovered that all along, he had believed wrongly, his father was actually the “bad” guy..

Is there a similarity in our lives? We worked so hard, spending hours in office, believing that that is the best for our family. We sent our kids to tuition, enrichment classes, thinking that that will be the best for them. We used our whole life, going after goals that we believe is good. What if, we were wrong? My boys always raced towards me each time I came home, is that a sign of telling me that they long for my presence and I had should be home earlier? They looked so stressed when they cant catch up with their peers in class, is that a sign that I push them too hard ? They were so cheerful and confident before they went to school. Did I destroy them or the school. Well it is always easy to blame the society.

The worst of all things is not at the end of the track then I realized that I am in the wrong lane or at the end of the day, at the wrong ladder, but is to know at this point of time, I am following the wrong path, yet, do not have the courage to switch, to change and to stand for what I know and think and believe is right.
